Turned the year stains a bit more pink, Has not had stones come back, but I'm not sure if it was antibiotics, switching to distilled water and a speciality diet which we don't follow as strict as before. i'm hoping this is helping

My dog started trying to urinate very frequently. Many times nothing was coming out. I took her to the veterinarian. She had a bad infection. This cranberry pill will NOT cure anything. You must see a vet. However the vet agreed this is a good supplement to help keep the urinary tract healthy. The tabs are very big. I break it in four pieces and she eats it like a treat. My other dog does not like the flavor so I have to hide it in a treat.

I've been using this Potassium Citrate instead of the more expensive Citra-Vet that was available only through our Veterinarian. It works just the same, with the added benefit of neutralizing the ph of his urine so well, we no longer have dead spots of grass in our lawn. The only downside is that some of the tablets are so worn that there is always powder in the bottom of the bottle. I add the K-Plus to his food, so I use the powder anyway, but I wish either the packaging was better, or the product was more stable.

Helpful for our aging dog to feel his best and control his symptoms.

My dog thinks this is a treat. She gobbles them out of my hand. No problem getting her to eat them. But it is a medication and not a treat. So I keep the container far out of her reach. She is prone to bladder crystals. This is a good preventative.

Our veterinarian prescribed these for our dog. She is prone to have bladder stones. We were glad to find these on Amazon because they are so much cheaper than from the Vet. It had the exact same ingredients and she has to take them for the rest of her life. Great product because our dog thinks she is getting yummy treats.

Our little fur baby had a successful operation 2 years ago to remove 6 bladder stones. Our veterinarian has him supplement his diet with these tablets to keep his ph up so he will not form more stones.

This is necessary due to a condition my dog has. She has been taking these for years and has lived beyond expections!

I buy this product for my dog, to avoid bladder stones, and he's a persnickety eater. I put the supplement in with his dog food and he gobbles it up. I like that it's a tablet, beef flavored, so I can monitor if he's eaten it. Other products are powder form and not so easy to track.

Has the potassium citrate but they use liver to flavor it and liver is high in purines which is why we need the potassium citrate.

I keep these handy in my doggie med cabinet for my female girl that sometimes gets UTI's and I also use it as a preventative.

Have ordered this product many times. Completely unsatisfied with this order. Pills are all broken up and bottle is filled with crumbs and dust.

One off the bottles we received had a lot of broke tablets in it.

Use this for my dog who is on lasix due to DCM & CHF. I just added it , as a nurse I know he loses some electrolytes so I believe that to help

We recieved this bottle on Aril 21st, opened it and began using the new bottle that night. Our dog gets 1.5 pills twice per day, but we ran out on May 10. That's 21 days, or 63 pills. Thats what was in the bottle, even though the bottle states that it is 100 pills. I'm disappointed.We did not think we had to count the pills as soon as we opened the bottle.

This is a REEAT PURCHASE for YEARS... !!My small dog suffers with growing stones in her bladder that require surgical removal, but this product was recommended to prevent same years ago, and so far so good. We do watch her diet and try to encourage adequate water intake, there are many factors co tribute from to her problem, but THIS PRODUCT has been a major factor in helping prevent stone growth. Our dog loves the taste of these, and she is a very picky eater.We highly recommend th is product!

My dog loves them. Try work well so far. My dog has issues with bladder stones and had surgery about 9 months ago. The vet recommended potassium citrate for adjusting urine pH. No more stone issues so far.

Our dog had urine crystals and wouldn't eat the special (and super expensive) food. Ordered these, she eats them right up like a treat! Also, they are frequently sold out on chewy so I was happy to find them here. Haven't been back to the vet to have her urine officially tested, but she hasn't been having her frequent urination issues as much. She's been taking them for about 3-4 months now.

Dog eats them and appear to be the same as the Pala Dura brand. Much less expensive. Other than the label, they appear to be the same.

I was debating whether to give this product 5 stars or 4 stars and decided to give 5 because this product was a 'life saver' for my puppy. Izzy had a UTI when we got her which was treated with antibiotics. After treatment, she still continued to leak urine. For 4 months I spent hundreds of dollars on urinalysis, bacterial cultures antibiotics and x-rays. Nothing would stop the leaking. I was to the point that I could no longer afford to spend money at the vet and contacted a rescue to see if someone could take her and commit to continue treatment. I saw this product and decided to give it a try for two weeks before relinquishing Izzy to the rescue. After 1 week, of taking this supplement (and 4 months of dealing with leaking) Izzy has finally stopped leaking urine and will no longer have to go to rescue! I am very happy I found this product and the price is more affordable that the vet visits. The reason I debated on dropping to 4 stars is because of the taste. It states beef and liver flavor, which is Izzy's favorite flavor, but I have a very difficult time getting her to take this twice a day. She just does not like the taste. I have to mix it with wet dog food in order for her to even give it the time of day and she still doesn't care for it with her favorite wet food. A small price to pay in order to keep my girl home though.

My dog won't go near these and she eats fruit and veg. Bummer.

Started using potassium citrate with cranberry after our yorkie had bladder stone surgery 8 years ago. We switched to this brand several years ago because they were more reasonably priced than what we had been using. Our dog loves these. He gets them twice a day and he gets so excited when he sees us opening the bottle. Also, these potassium citrate pills plus special food and our yorkie has no further bladder stone issues.

Helped my dogs a lot. Had to break up the pills since they were pretty big, but they were soft enough to break by hand easily. When the dogs did not want to chew them up due to lack of teeth, I would crumble it into a powder and sprinkle over their food. Very easy to convert from pill to powder to paste. As previously stated, the only reason it wasn't 5 stars was because of size of the pills but again, was not hard at all to break pill by hand. My 5 year old niece could break them as she would help with dispersing vitamins to all the dogs.

It has been the best thing for my dog. No more urinary tract infections.

My Schnauzer eats them as a treat everyday. The K-Plus is excellent for spayed Schnauzers.

This product and Natural Petz Break It Up saved my little buddy's (Yorkeshire Terrier) male parts. My vet wanted to do a sex change surgery because he was developing stones that he couldn't pass. I did a lot of research and ran for the hills from my vet. I changed his diet, raw freeze dried treats, and his expensive prescription dog food with the 2 supplements. He responded great and we had multiple appointments for x-Rays from a new vet to make sure he was progressing to be stone free. I saved his manhood and a large bill for surgery was avoided.
