100% pain free. This product is awesome!

Skeptical at first, but after a couple of months my 133 lb female rottie (who is my heart and best friend ) started to have a very bad limp from chasing a rabbit across our 14 acres of land. Also with the limp started a loud popping sound coming from one of back hide legs. Being quite concerned, my veterinarian x-rayed her hips to tell me she has a bad case arthritis, aka hip dysplasia. After a couple of shots of steroids, my vet put her on these chewable pills and in a month and a half she was walking better with no popping sounds. She truly acts like a more youthful dog, and know that my best friend is pain free is worth the purchase of this product!!!!! I'm a 100% true believer! Scarlet O'Hera loves it cause she thinks she's getting a treat every morning and every evening.

Dogs love them!

It is hard to find something with MSM, Glucosamine, and Chondroitin in it. And if you didn't know...You need BOTH G/C to work together for the joint benefit. One doesn't work without the other....as explained to me by a pharmacist. The MSM is just a bonus. My girls love them. Have two on them with very different pallets...And we are on our 2nd bucket! I can def tell that they are helping bc they are both doing very well (exisiting joint issues for them both) since theyve been on them. Remember that you need to have them on them 3-4 weeks before you notice anything...Ive had my girls on something for years...But seem to be noticing the most positive results with these. Try them out....I dont think you would regret it! PS...They LOVE the taste!

Good product

We've had Nova, our German Shepard mix "Pound Puppy" for 13 years and she is now about 15 years old. She has difficulty getting up and climbing stairs and sometimes stumbles while walking. This is our second order for this product and the product has helped a great deal. While she still can't jump in the car to go for a ride (she has to be lifted in), she does move better and will frequently run & play with her 'sister'. Nova likes the flavor and thinks she's getting a treat each morning. I recommend this product.

Works great
April 25, 2013
My 7 year old 55 pound stafshire had injured his leg when he was younger and would limp from time to time. It the past year it progressed rapidly to where he would barely walk on it if at all and couldn't even make it up the stairs. The dosage says to give him 2 or 3 for his size but I started him off with just one to be careful not to over do it and upset his stomach. I noticed a difference in him the very next day. He still had a little limp but was doing much better and climbed the stairs easily. He was even excited it seemed like he was very happy his leg was feeling better. He has only been on it for less than a week but and has made tons of progress. I will be giving him these forever.

Not bad
March 31, 2013
Tried these for a few months but didn't see much improvement. We went through 3 tubs and our older dog didn't really seem to show much improvement, so we switched to a different product. The one really good thing is that the dogs will eat these without any problems. The new ones are a real pain in the butt to get him to eat! No matter what we hide them in, he always eats around it and leaves the medicine!

Not for sensitive stomachs
March 18, 2013
My Pitbull/Pointer mix loves these treats and we got them specifically for her after her knee surgery. We gave our English Bulldog one treat with her two nights in a row and he vomited shortly after both nights. So we are only giving them to our pit now. Our bulldog has shown sensitivity to certain treats before, so maybe this treat isn't for everyone. But it's not too smelly and our pit loves them.

We can tell a difference with this product
March 5, 2013
I had started my lab on this product less than a year ago but wasn't giving the full dosage. I was trying to get a head start on the joint issues for our 10 year old dog. About 4 months ago, the dog started having real bad hip pain. The vet gave him a shot and some medication and told us that this is what we should expect going forward. Since that time, I've been giving our dog the full dosage (3 pieces) a day and he has not had any more issues. Not to say that things may change down the road but at this point the supplements are working and the dog has not needed any more shots or medicine.

lifesaver for my dog!
February 21, 2013
We have a Pit Bill, nicest dog ever... He has terrible hip problems sometimes he cries, sometimes he doesn't get off the sofa ect... Got these today and he loved that taste. That was my first worry. The box says for his weight to take 4 per day... I will give him this dose till we run out, if he starts doing much better we will cut it to twice a day.I will post weekly updates for the next month.Update*** I have used the product 4x a day and I am on my second containerMy dog still has trouble getting on and off the sofa but man does this work! I use it with 2x the dog aspirin one in the morning and one at night. I have cut the dose to 2x a day because it can be kind of expensive.1 Con:My dog wont eat them out of the container I smash them like a pancake but no biggie!

Results observed fairly quickly
February 11, 2013
Purchased for my 9 year old, 65lb Amstaff/Pitbull mix. At 4 per day, they're going to get expensive but I have seen an improvement within about two weeks or so. I've ordered another tub. They must taste pretty good, he never turns them down - and he's picky!

These seem to be doing the same as other brands.
February 10, 2013
Although I read in other reviews that these have a strong smell, I still purchased them. They do smell, but my dog loves them and since they are soft, it's easy to imbed another pill he needs to take in the chew and he doesn't even know it.

Works better than any other joint supplement I have tried
January 22, 2013
I love these, and I am not one to write effusive reviews. I have tried several different joint supplements for my two large, elderly dogs (including the GNC supplements, which are very pricy). Both my 11-year-old St. Bernard and my 12 year old Doberman mix love these, they think they are getting the best treat when they take their medicine, which is a nice change from having to hide pills in something just to get the dogs to take them. The best part though is that there has been a marked improvement in my dogs' ability to get around. I wanted to cry when my St. Bernard started having problems walking up the stairs and climbing onto the couch. After a few days, she was getting up and down easier, stairs became easier shortly after that. At about three weeks, she started climbing onto her couch again. Our Doby mix has shown improvements too, though she was not as pitiful before we started giving her the Joint MAX. The only downside is that the supplements are a little stinky, but no worse than many dog treats, and the dogs think they smell great.:)

Sounds great, but my dog won't eat it.
December 27, 2012
Ingredients sound great, but I need to return this product, as my dog won't eat it. She tried to, but it's chewy in a way that causes it to get stuck in the teeth. She didn't like that either. Not so good.

Good Stuff
December 8, 2012
Dog looks forward to her treat and appears to have added extra bounce to her step from the chews.Only downside (thus the 4 stars) I found with the product is the container the chews come in does not preserve the chews long enough for us to go through all of them.; the last batch developed mold before they were all gone. I recommend moving chews over to a tupperware like container. If you have multiple dogs, then this likely won't be an issue for you.

MY DOG IS BRAND NEW!
December 6, 2012
I adopted a 4 year old large breed dog. When we got him, the previous owners said that he had arthritis and the vet had told them there was little that could be done for him other than to not over-exercise him. I researched the effectiveness of glucosamine and ordered Joint Max Triple Strength. I started him on a regimen of 3 soft chews each morning with his breakfast and started noticing improvement in about 3 weeks. His limp disappeared and his stamina improved during play. I maintained the 3 a day dosage for a year and reduced it to 2 a day after that. It's now been nearly 3 years and this dog is acting like a pup again!! He wants to play continuosly (shagging balls, frisbees, etc...) and we are up to 4 miles for our walks! I swear by this stuff and plan to keep him on this for the rest of his life!

Great Product!
November 27, 2012
I bought this product because of the fact it was a soft chew and I would not have to struggle to get my dogs to take them and would not have to hide it in another treat or pill pocket. My dogs love them! I have a Boston Terrier who has been diagnosed with arthritis in all her joints. Before starting this product, she had trouble walking down our backdoor steps and she quit running through the back yard (she is only 5). After taking this for a month, she began to be her old self and act like she is the young dog she is. She doesn't walk down the steps, she JUMPS down the steps and runs all through the back yard now.

Seems to work.
November 20, 2012
I have an Shepherd/Collie mix. She turned 11 this month. She has slowed down quite a bit in the passed year, though admittedly I have too. She was having difficulty standing up and just the year previous she would never walk ANYwhere. She ran. She spent the passed year cooped up in an apartment but now that she has the yard again. She walks. Its kinda sad. Because of her heritage (german shepherd dog) I have been concerned with her hips. She's been on a senior food since she was five. A few years ago we got her some 'joint chews' which seemed to help. I don't know if this is the same product but it seems to be working. With the onset of 'cool' weather (I'm down in fl) I have in the past seen her struggle but so far this year things are looking better. She's back to 'jogging' rather than walking and even though getting up still seems tricky just seeing her running again is a vast improvement!

Helps my dog with Elbow dysplasia
November 4, 2012
My dog was limping around with no energy. When I took her to the University Small Animal clinic they diagnosed her with Elbow dysplasia. Little to no options were given. I did some internet research and started her on Joint Max. It has made a big difference in her movements.I give her 2 of the Joint max soft chews a day. I cut up and put in her food dish. These must have a flavor that most dogs will eat. My dog is extremely picky. If something is not right, she turns her nose up and refuses to eat. So the taste must to OK.

Great pet relief for joint pain!
April 25, 2012
My wife and I have been using Joint Max for a couple of years now. Our Shepard mix had been having problems with her hind legs and the vet diagnosed her with arthritis. We went ahead and looked around for a joint product to help ease her pain. We just happened to stumble upon this one and have been amazed by the results. Our dog is running more and is much more active with this supplement. There were some days before where she had trouble even standing on one of her legs, but we haven't seen it since we have been giving this to her. We do recommend the chews. The dog loves them and we use them as treats, so there is no fuss with trying to get her to eat them. We highly recommend these if your dog is suffering from joint discomfort!

Great product!
March 1, 2012
I have a 10-year old large dog. We started to notice after his long walks he would be sore and stiff. We used Nupro, which did seem to work but he didn't really love the taste. We had to trick him into eating it. When we ordered his last thing of Nupro Joint Max came as a sample. HE LOVED THEM! He sat there begging for them drooling. They are soft and obviously very flavorful because he is a SUPER picky eater. He sits every morning staring at the tub until I give him one. I notice he hasn't had any stiffness or acting sore at all so on top of tasting great, it really seems to be doing its job! So glad we found this product.

My Dogs Love This Product!!!
January 12, 2012
This is my third time purchasing Joint MAX triple strength soft chews. My dogs can't get enough of it. I initially purchased Joint MAX triple strength soft chews to facilitate my Border Collie's recovery from hip surgery in October. I only recently began giving it to my other two dogs. It is probably a little early to judge its effectiveness. I do, however know that my dogs absolutely LOVE the taste.Below I give some background information on my dogs for anyone interested. Later I will add to this review regarding my opinion on its effectiveness. We have 3 dogs with hip issues. Two hybrids with minor issues and one Border Collie named Ceasar. Ceasar showed up one day about 5 1/2 years ago. Our Veterinarian said he looked about 3 years old at that time and weighed only 23lbs.He is a free spirit who loves to chase cars, so we had a tough time keeping him in the back yard. We ended up running a electric wire around the top of the fence. He only attempted to get out one more time after that. He favored one leg when he came to us and acquired a few more injuries over the next 2 years. My husband took him along once when he dropped one of our horses off at the Veterinarian's Office. After seeing Ceasar run around our veterinarian, who is a friend of ours, told Michael that he ran like a rabbit and asked when Ceasar was going to have surgery.Ceasar had 2 major surgeries in 2011. One in September and the other in October. The surgery is called FHO (False Hip Operation). This surgery involves the removal of the head (and sometimes the neck) of the affected femur. Then the muscles somehow form what the vet calls "a false hip joint".Before the surgery out veterinarian told us due to Ceasar's age and the degree of joint degeneration and muscle atrophy he couldn't make any promises about how successful the operation would be and that there was the possibility that he could cut a nerve in his hip which could cause him to drag that leg for the rest of his life. We had 2 options: 1. Have the surgery and greatly increase the quality of the remainder of his life; or 2. Don't have the surgery and watch the pain suck the life out of our wonderful, loving dog. After the second surgery our veterinarian told us that he didn't think he cut any nerves, and that it was the toughest surgery he had ever performed. Ceasar was in great pain for about three days after each surgery. But then he would get really bored and want to be busy again, but only for a little while. We began giving him Joint Max Triple strength after the second operation.I am very happy to say that Ceasar has made almost a complete recovery and is doing great!!!

Joint Formula
April 25, 2011
We previously used this product for a Labrador who had severe hip problems due to old age. We saw remarkable improvment in his mobility. Our Pyrenees has congenital hip dysplasia and other bone disorders. She is only 3 years old, we hoped this product would give her some relief. We have not seen an appreciable difference yet, but continue to administer it daily, and hope with time to see some improvement in her pain and discomfort level.

Helped my little guy!
February 24, 2011
Last year we adopted a wonderful little dog from a local shelter. He has a significant limp with his rear leg and I was told that he must have been hit by a car and his leg never healed correctly. When I had ordered some pet supplies for him, I received a sample of the Joint Max. He loved the sample, so I decided to give it a try and ordered it. It has made a significant difference especially since it has been so cold and his joints are really stiff. Obviously he will never be 100% healed but I really feel this has helped him. If you are not sure at least try a small package and see how it work for your dog.

Item as described.

My dog really didn't want to eat these, but he did for awhile. He is 168 lbs., so I gave him 3 to 5 chews a day, usually 3 in the a.m. and 2 in the pm. He took them for 2 or 3 weeks and really seemed to be doing a lot better. All of a sudden one day he would not eat them - no way! I have not been able to eat them since. I think it is a good product because he really did seem to improve.
