This product is as close to a miracle as you can get. I've been using this for years with my, now, 13 year old Golden Retriever. They are her favorite treat taste-wise and her mouth waters every time. She has always had hip and elbow dysplasia; bad enough to where the vet told us to just put her down as a pup. This product has helped allow her to have a full and active life. She still has some mobility issues but I have gone through periods where we don't use the treats and after a couple weeks you can absolutely tell a that she is not doing as well. It's the difference between going up the stairs by herself or needing help. I am so happy I found this product, I really recommend you give it a try. Thank you!

These work great and have the added bonus of acting like a pill pocket! They are soft which is good for my older dogs teeth and they taste good! Making it easy to push a pill into the center (or for bigger pills, pull in half insert pill and push it back together to hid the pill)

My good old bird dog was very stiff after trips to the dog park or hunting. My daughter gave me some of these chews to try and the effect was immediate! He no longer seemed stiff and sore and wasn't groaning aloud when moving around or just laying. He seems young again and we've used these foe a month now and I believe it has given him freedom from joint pain,. He hunted for a few hours last Saturday and showed hardly any stiffness afterward or next day and was completely ache free by Sunday afternoon. Usually he would ache for days.I do recommend cutting up and mixing with a teaspoon of gravy or shredded chicken as the smell and taste can be strong. He gobbles it down with his food twice daily.

I noticed my 8-yr old Chocolate Lab (((Snoopy))) limping one day. I thought he had caught a staple in his foot since we were pulling up carpet or had somehow hurt it outside in the yard. After a couple of days, I took him to the vet & he was diagnosed with mild arthritis in his shoulders & muscle degeneration in his back leg. The MONTHLY prescriptionS were over $70. Enter on-line research! This product, along with turmeric & fresh ginger in homemade pill pockets, has given him sooo much relieve. Although he's not running marathons, the limp is gone, he's not whining during the night & he's adjusting to the new wood floors quite nicely. We haven't even made it through the 1st month! Also, they must taste pretty durn good because he knows when that bucket comes out...LOL

I am absolutely amazed with this product. My poor little Cairn has been hopping since June. I tried another product before this but it didn't seem to help. My little pup hated the taste of the other one but this one she loves and takes it as a treat. I the month that she has been on this she is just about fully healed. The vet told me to continue what I have been doing. Thank you for an outstanding product. I just now placed another order because with 2 pups I will need more soon.

These chewy pills have done wonders for my 11 year old dog's joints and arthritis. She has a renewed bounce in her step and I notice she gets up and down the stairs better and is no longer reluctant to jump into my truck. They are very palatable and she eats them on her food. She is the worlds pickiest eater so it says a lot that she consistently eats them. And they are reasonably priced compared to other joint support supplements. The only thing I would change would be the packaging; plastic bag in a plastic tub. How about no bag inside or a waxed cardboard tub/ box (biodegradable).

Our dog is turning 18 years old this month and these help her get around. I give her more than what the package calls for. I also have to break these into 4 pieces since her teeth aren't in the best of shape after 18 years.These are like treats to her, and are moldable, and great for hiding pills in. She gets excited to get her treats every morning and night.These have definitely comfortably extended the life of our precious dog.

I have a large dog. My vet said she was headed towards hip problems when she ages. She strongly recommend this product to slow down on set arthritis as she ages. My Old English Sheepdog is now 9 years old. She jumps up into my bed or into the car like a kangaroo !I heavily endorse this great product to all you large dog owners. It works!

Everyone with a senior dog is always looking for ways to make them more comfortable. Us too. It's hard to see them slow down, We began regularly giving these to our sweet 12 year old Golden a couple of months ago, and I can definitely see a difference. Not a running circles around the yard and snatching frisbee's out of the air kind of difference, but she seems to be able to get up and down much easier. And while she couldn't quite do it, she even tried to climb up on her dining chair the other day (her favorite trick from her youth) which hasn't been attempted for 6 months.She loves the taste of these (I think they smell like prunes!) , we hide a couple in her food daily which encourages her to eat. An interesting effect that to me proves these chews are doing their job; her nails are growing like crazy! I had trimmed them just a few weeks ago, and checked her nails and they had grown over a 1/4 inch!At first glance the price seems a little high, but this bucket of 120 chews will last two months, and for a little more comfort for our sweet girl, it's not a bad price to pay.

Our vet gave us expensive pill supplements that our dogs wouldn't take. We tried pill pockets - nope. We tried peanut butter - okay, kind of, but that made them full of calories and sometimes they would just spit out the pill. We tried mixing into their food, but they hated the taste and pills would be left in the bottom of their bowls - lol. I volunteer at Old Friends Senior Dog Sanctuary (Mt. Juliet, TN) and found out they use Joint Max for many of their senior dogs, and they saw improvements. So I thought I would try it out. My dogs LOVE these. After two weeks, we already see improvements. My old beagle is running in the yard again, and can also jump up on the couch again. I followed the instructions - double dose for 3 weeks, followed by maintenance doses. They think these are treats - and have no trouble with the taste. So much more affordable and easier to give to our two seniors. I just ordered our second bucket to make sure we don't run out.

Do not order and have shipped on a hot day. The chews are melted into one big lump. Other than that it is a great product and have ordered several the past few years. My lab eats his chew willingly and appears to help with his arthritis.

Our 6 yr old rottie started having hip problems and the vet suggested glucosamine with chondroitin. This was one of the cheaper ones we found so we tried it. Other than it smelling bad, the stuff worked apparently well for our dog. No more limping, hesitation or favoring within a couple months. We're now on our second pail.

This is our 2nd tub, getting ready to order the 3rd. Our dog, an 11yo lab, loves these. Started giving them to her about 1.5yrs ago after she somehow injured her back leg and hip. We tried another brand before this that were in a hard chewable tablet but she wasn't interested at all even though it said they're flavored. Had to crush them into tiny pieces and add them to her food each meal otherwise she wouldn't eat them. These are soft & chewy. She loves them and so do we for their ease of use and the fact that she gobbles them right up. We were told to give her 1500mg/day so we divide it between her meals and need to split one chew in half and it's so much easier than the hard tablets, which we needed a pill splitter to do. This Joint Max brand and size are also the most economical per dose. Lasts about 80 days, depending on if we give her extra on days she seems to hurt more. It's also great that's there's vitamins and other supplements to help dogs aches and pain. Well packaged, can reuse the tub they come in, and minimal crumbling which can be pinched together to give your dog. All around a great product.

This is the first time order with this company.. But I use Triple Strength soft chews for my 2 senior dogs for the last 2 years and love the results I have gotten from the soft chews. I am trying this brand this time. So will let you know on the next order if I feel this brand works as well as the other brand I use to use. Very happy with the freshness of this product. And hopeful that your company will continue to provide a good product at a fair price. Yea, also happy it's made in USA. I love seeing that flag on things!

My 8 year old black lab was having a hard time getting up and walking. His stomach doesn't like "new" treats so I was concerned about trying them. It's been 4 months and several tubs of chews and Reggie is running in the field like a puppy. The chews are easy to digest. His mobility has improved and I'm sure he's smiling when he runs in the field now.

Great product at a good price. I would give this 10 stars if I could.... Six months ago, my 10 year old pug was started to be lazier than he normally is. When he did decide to get up, he would walk around like a tired, stiff old man. If we tried to take him a on a walk, he would start limping after half a mile. We took him to the vet, but they said he was just getting older and suggested finding some chewy tablets for his joints. After spending an hour looking, I finally chose Joint Max based on the reviews. And I am so glad that I did! It's been a few months now, and he can go on mile and a half long walks with ease. He gets excited at the things that he used to (his leash, his toys) and he walks, moves and jumps like he did when he was three. A few reviews mentioned how their dogs won't eat these, and granted, my pug is not picky, but he loves these. He gets so excited when I open up the tub. I will certainly purchase again. I have 2 Dobermans, a 9 year old and an 11 year old. I feed them really nice, holistic dog food and have for years. My 9 year old has issues with her pancreas and I have to be careful of what I feed her. I've been feeding these for over a year and my dogs are super healthy and active. I don't normally supplement but at their age I figured why not. I noticed their joints don't snap and pop as much. They love the taste and get very excited when they hear the plastic tub open.

These worked well for my 12+ year old Great Pyrenees, but she didn't really care for the taste/size, so I had to break them up into smaller pieces and sometimes she'd still eat around them. I have since switched over to Missing Link Hip and Joint, which is a powder type form and both my 8 year old lab and now 12 1/2 year old Great Pyrenees are doing well with it added to their food.

I have been feeding these to my 17 yr old Australian Shepard Mix for around a year. After the initial few weeks I noticed her arthritis was not as sensitive when it rained. She eats them without any coaxing. Some containers seem to be fresher then others. It doesn't bother her at all to have them a little more dry crumbly. But when she does have a flare up its nice to use these as a pill pocket for her vets best pain tablet. I can push it into the middle so she will eat the whole thing without separating out the pill. I will continue to purchase these as a supplement for as long as our dog is around!

Easy to use, smells great to me. However, 1 dog does not want to eat this. The other dog eats everything, so I have no problem with him.

These are GREAT chews for dogs. My border collie puppy and older dog both really like them. They are a nice size too.

They help more older dogs (age 9) keep their joints supple. Too much play and old injuries can leave them feeling stiff and hobling around. They get joint max at breakfast and dinner. Before they would remain stiff jointed for up to a week, now they are back to the playful pup the next day!

My 11 year old, 98 lb, lab loves these treats in a way I have never seen before. He gets 5 a day, 3 in the morning, and 2 at night. He has been taking them for about 3 weeks now. I am starting to notice a big improvement in his movement already. About 2 months ago my sweet lab started to fall down the stairs almost every morning. I talked to his vet and she recommended I put him on some glucosamine. After a lot of research and review reading I chose these. I'm so glad I did. He has not fallen down the stairs in 4 days now. Last week he only fell down about 5 times. So, it is getting better. He is also running after sticks a little harder in the back yard. These treats will remain in his daily routine from now on.
