Great Products
October 31, 2013
This really works and I love that it's all natural herbs. My dog has developed storm phobia and this product makes me feel better because it is natural. While my dog is calmer on TranQuilTabs, he isn't "drugged" or "sedated." He can still walk and interact while on TranQuil Tabs.

Great product
July 19, 2013
I have a Scottish Terrier and a Jack Russell. My Jack Russell is very hyper. He upsets the Terrier. My JR has settled down quite a bit. My Terrier seems more relaxed. My JR has alot of separation anxiety. Has alot of energy. I have looked for months for a product that would work. TranQuil-Tabs seems to be the best so far.

Couldn't live without them
May 21, 2013
I originally bought these pills approximately one year ago and just bought another bottle. I have a Shihtzu who absolutely hates storms & loud noises such as fireworks/backfires from automobiles/gun shots etc. When I see or know it's about to start thunderstorming out I immediately go grab the bottle and give her a pill. My dog is approximately 13 lbs and I give her one pill. I wrap it up in a piece of lunch meat and give it to her. It's a big pill and she doesn't mind of the taste of it, once I have put a meat flavor on it. She will eat every last crumb of the pill. In fact, she now gets excited when she sees me get this bottle, or hears me shake the bottle. The symptoms that these pills help are amazing. My dog will pant ferociously, pace, shake uncontrollably and giving her this pill will calm her completely down. She will stop shaking, possibly take a nap. I also use it for if she seems to not do well in the car. It will relax her and she will be able to do car rides with no problem.I could not imagine if I would have not found these pills. Every year that my dog ages, she becomes more and more scared of loud noises and these pills are a God-send. I will continue to order these and tell everybody I know that has dogs about how wonderful they are.It does take about 15-20 minutes for them to start working, so the sooner the better. Last night we had horrible storms and she was so worked up that I gave her a pill at about 7:15 pm & again before we went to bed at around 10:00 pm and she did great through the night. I would assume that big dogs may need larger doses as my dog is small and can handle 1-2 pills on a real story night.

Changed for the better

Our excessively hyper goldendoodle has been calmed by these. She previously never stopped, never layed down and just was crazy hyper all the time. She has had these for three days twice a day and she is definitely showing improvement.

Reduces travel anxiety for your pet!
February 3, 2013
This is a great herbal supplement that helps with travel anxiety for pets! I have tried several different products and this one has served the purpose better. I have a little Yorkie and we are together 24/7. In the last 4 years, I have had to make some strenuous international road trips, driving 4 - 7 days straight for at least 10 hours daily. This has been with the car loaded down and the family inside as well which has meant little time to focus on the dog! It is common for dogs to feel a tremendous amount of stress in these situations, to the point of either being so disoriented they run away, or they suffer physically. This product has been a life-saver for my dog.The first time I did this road trip (no medication), she had a nervous breakdown and from that point, wanted nothing to do with the car! Between the stress and the heavy heat, it's no wonder! Now, I put a gel icepack wrapped in a thin blanket in her travel crate to keep her cool, give her the prescribed dosage spread out over the day, and keep her close by so that she can see my face and know that everything is going to be alright. And it's worked! Now she sleeps most of the way, knowing that all is well. The anxiety is gone.I love my dog, and her quality of life is important to me. This supplement has made a huge difference in our travels.

Works great for my dog
December 23, 2012
I've used these for two years. These tablets have worked great to reduce my dog's anxiety about fireworks and thunderstorms. It is better to give them in advance (if possible), so they have a little time to work before the anxiety-provoking event happens. It makes him sleepy and calmer. It might not totally take away the anxiety if he is extremely anxious, but it works for moderate anxiety.I was surprised to read reviews from people who say they were giving it every day. I don't believe the directions suggest this. My understanding is that it is for unusual, scary events. If your dog is always anxious and high-strung, try more exercise and socialization, or consult a dog trainer.

Didn't work for my dog.
October 28, 2012
I tried this product on my 6 year old high strung blue heeler mix for about 6 weeks. I would put the chewable tablet in with her dry food and she would just eat it.After about 6 weeks she started spitting it out to the side of her bowl or just eating around it and leaving it in her bowl when she was done eating.Since it wasn't having any discernable results I stopped trying to get her to take them.

No Results Even After Consistent Use
October 8, 2012
I have three dogs, two of which have varying degrees of anxiety. One dog is very sound sensitive and is afraid of his own shadow. Another dog is well-adjusted, but can get nervous in new situations.I tried these on both dogs in both a situational capacity (only giving it when I knew something anxiety-producing was going to happen) and in a treatment capacity (daily). With the dog who is sound sensitive and fearful, the results I saw ranged from his behavior remaining the same to him being excessively anxious (in other words, the opposite reaction; a stimulant). With the dog with minor anxiety, I saw no difference at all in either situation. The treats smell akin to the macaroni and cheese cheese packet (except maybe five times stronger), so they're not pleasant, but the dogs seemed mostly receptive to them. I tried giving them to our third dog (a selective husky), and he refused them. So if you have a picky dog, you might have trouble with these.

Anxiety Relief

TranQuil-Tabs work wonders for my dog. He has bad anxiety and fear of trucks. I have been using this product for about a year and I can definately notice a difference when he is not taking the tranQuil-Tabs. The other positive is that he loves the taste of the tablets. I would definately reccomend TranQuil-Tabs to anyone who has an anxious dog.

Moderate Impact, but its better than it was (Anxiety)
April 16, 2012
Seems to calm and remove some anxiety from my 12 yr old dog, but it does not totally remove his separation anxiety and does not remove all anxiety/stress for thunder or 4th of July fire crackers, but it does provide moderate calming effect for him, which is an improvement.

These supplements are great!
March 11, 2012
TranQuil-Tabs for Dogs are an absolute God-send. We adopted a dog through a rescue group in August of 2011 who is a sweetheart and appears to be absolutely normal when he receives his dose of TranQuil-Tabs. We were so upset when we heard about how he was treated, but we now understand why the previous owner chained him up in the back yard 24 hours a day. He is absolutely bonkers and no amount of training without some kind of medication would do the job. With TranQuil-Tabs he is able to listen and loves to be trained and cuddled. He is so intelligent and full of love, but his hyper-activity couldn't allow him to calm down enough to be the wonderful dog he really is.Don't be fooled into thinking that you won't need to provide adequate exercise and training for your dog who is hyper, but TranQuil-Tabs provides a calm enough atmosphere to get a leash on your dog and take him for civilized walks and provide repeated training time. Without these pills, my 50lb. dog is knocking me over onto the ground, jumping over the top of the back of the couch, and standing on the top of the dining room table sending the good teapot flying into the air. These tablets last longer than other tablets which claim to do the same thing. I think the other products may be better for a thunderstorm or a visit to the Vet, because they only seem to last for about 1 hour. TranQuil-Tabs seem to last for 7 to 10 hours at a time before my dog needs another dose. The best part is that my dog never seems to be drugged; he only seems to be normal and ready to be trained and ready to receive positive reinforcement for good behavior.I was hoping that I might be able to wean my dog off these supplements, but it has been over 6 months now and he still needs them. However, I think this has to do with my dog, not the tablets. They don't seem to be habit forming, his behavior is not worsened when they wear off, it's just that he is back to being his normal crazy self. I just think that my dog is seriously hyper and destructive without help.So folks, before you think about chaining you cute doggie out in the backyard because he can't be housebroken and properly trained, before you think about having your dog euthanized, have a heart and try TranQuil-Tabs before giving up. A combination of love, Tranquil-Tabs, plenty of good exercise and training may just yield positive results.

Works well for one dog, but BEWARE....
January 13, 2012
Have used these for years for one of my dogs with fireworks/thunder anxiety and while it doesn't truly "calm her down", it does take the edge off and make it easier for her to try to relax. But BEWARE: Just got a new dog with anxiety, gave him this and he went into a catatonic state, followed by an allergic reaction. His face puffed up like a prize fight loser and he itched like CRAZY all over. A friend/vet tech instructed me to give him Benadryl and fortunately the allergic reaction wasn't so severe that the Benadryl didn't work, so I didn't have to rush him to the clinic late at night to get a shot. (His swelling didn't go down until the following morning.) We are thinking that it could be the valerian. While valium isn't a derivative of valerian, they have the same chemical compounds, so we are keeping that in mind to inform the vet of this allergic reaction episode should he ever require a sedative.

Work well, not a cure, though!
August 28, 2011
I bought these to try for my very anxious rescue dog. She's the bark-at-the-wind, scared-of-a-leaf, deathly-afraid-of-bicycles kind of anxious. I've tried many different kinds of training and several other products trying to "fix" her, with very minimal improvement. These tablets really do help take the edge off her anxiety. They don't turn her into a fearless pup, but they help "chill" her out enough that she's not constantly huffing or barking at everything! I give her one with her food most mornings, or two if we're heading into a potentially stressful day for her (she's 55 pounds), and within a half an hour, I notice a slight difference.I do notice that she won't eat them by themselves. If I forget to mix them in her food, she won't just eat them. I cover them in a bit of peanut butter and she'll take them, no problem!

Pills do not work

Much quieter at my house
January 14, 2011
I have 3 very active boxers; they are 4, 3 and just turned 2. The 2 year old is a handful. He lunges at other dogs and people on walks. We hired and paid for private training, that helped some. But he continued to lunge, and I mean aggressively. Our other 2 dogs are great, they can go anywhere. Not the 2 year old. I was at my wits end. I have tried a couple of different brands; capsules I had to force down his throat. These tablets I toss in his dog food in the morning. The end result is a dog who still needs correction, but no longer as aggressive or anxious. In the house he is even calmer, rather than rough-housing and running to all the windows at any little noise he is playful but not overly so. He listens better, he runs through his tricks and commands better. I will keep giving these to him as needed. Best I have found so far!

Mild effects
December 21, 2010
I bought the tabs for our overly (at times) anxious Lab. The effects of taking the tabs for about a month were rather mild. I bought these not really hoping to cure his rather high energy at times, but to curb it a bit. There was some noticeable effect, but over all just slightly. I am not sure I will continue to buy this product as it only has a slight effect from what I was hoping. I was giving our dog (75 lbs) 2 tabs as directed. I also did notice sometimes that it upset his digestive system. I would not recommend this for dogs with sensitive stomachs. Overall I would give this product 3 stars.

TranQuil Tabs
November 14, 2010
This product is fabulous. I have a 19 month old Dalmation who is always ready to go. I bought this product because I wanted to be able to brush his teeth and trim his nails without always taking him to the vet. He gets 2-3 tablets on Sundays so I can brush his teeth. They don't knock him out they just allow him to relax long enough to get the task done and not stress him out.

Does not work - save your money
October 2, 2010
Folks - I purchased this product to try an organic, non-prescription, mild calming supplement. I don't want to 'drug' my dog! This product simply does not work at all. I've given it 3 times to Daisy and nothing in her behavior or disposition changed. Save your money / look elsewhere. If you're interested, I have an awesome 7yr old Labrador who I affectionly say has "ADD". She is very energetic, has a another Lab to play with and spends plenty of time with me as I work from home. Problem is she has yet to grow out of that > needs constant attention - wants to play - does all her tricks to gain attention - tries to climb into my personal space....to the point of pure annoyance. In fact, if I don't respond she will find something (bad) to do - just to get my attention! She is so smart and knows better! And she minds my commands but only for a few minutes! Luckily she is kennel trained so I frequently put her in "time out"....especially when I have guests.

Works- give on empty stomach,Has to accumulate in dog's system, like any herb
August 24, 2010
Our Chow-Rottweiler mix has responded well to this formula. She weighs about 75 lbs. She was a stray and has always shown behavioral symptoms of being abused. In addition to this, her Chow lineage makes her a little temperamental. She hates thunder, fireworks, and gun shots - she would tear up any space she thought she could get under for safety and bark all night if a storm hit in the middle of it - completely inconsolable. One of her humans takes herbal supplements regularly, so I figured that I would treat hers the way I treat mine - give them on an empty stomach and wait to eat for at least 20 minutes. Because of her size, I give her an average of 5 a day - three in the morning a few hours after breakfast and two in the late afternoon before dinner. If there's a storm brewing, I'll add two or three more. She is not only making it through the night on her own when a storm hits at 2am, but she's having "normal" dog responses to playing fetch with a ball - something she's never had fun with before. We went through a bottle and a half feeding the tablets to her with her meals and saw no response. Feeding on an empty stomach and allowing them to absorb has seemed to make a world of difference. Herbs are not like aspirin, they don't work immediately. Expect a couple of weeks for the accumulative effect to take root. Then keep them up, Entirely Pets has a great price on these and I've been ordering supplements from this company for a year or so. I'm very pleased with them!Want to mention- our other dog who is a basset hound-rottweiler mix- responded badly to these - he's a hyper guy,but doesn't have behavioral problems, per se. He is not skittish or frightened of anything. He got really needy and whiny on these herbs.

TranQuil
July 9, 2010
Tablets are entirely too large for small dogs. Obviously they do not taste very well either. I tried breaking them up and even crushing them with his favorite food and he opted to leave the food rather than take the pill. I finally had to toss the pills. Maybe if they were more palatable they would work but I could not say.

didn't work for us....
April 29, 2010
The first time I tried to give my 18 lb dog these huge pills I cut them into 4 pieces and put them in her food. She picked them out. Then I tried putting them into her snack and that worked for maybe two of the 4 pieces. Eventually I crushed the pills and sprinkled the dust on her food and applied a little water and made a sauce. She ate her food and licked the bowl. After a couple days of giving her two of the huge tabs a day I didn't notice any difference but I decided to give it a week and see if that would help. I notice no difference in her at all. She is style my little psycho dog.

Couldn't see any difference
April 22, 2010
Our greyhound is anxious about separation, unusual noises and most new things. He often refuses to go for a walk or stops part way through the walk and wants to go home. We had hoped this product would provide some benefit but we see no change after using it for a few days. We now have the dog on a prescription anxiety drug and he seems to be doing better, but not an easy case to solve.

Great for anxious dogs
February 26, 2010
This is my second bottle of TranQuil-Tabs. I have a shelter dog that was badly abused and she is really sensitive to any changes in her environment as a result. She also has night-time seizures from all the trauma of the abuse. I have found that giving her one or two of these tablets when she is going to the groomers, we are moving, it's thunderstorm season, etc. really helps her overall. She is much calmer and more relaxed in general. The tablets either taste good or she seems to understand they help her because she looks for them now. Once I give her a TranQuil-Tab to chew she goes onto her bed and takes a nap. She no longer destroys things in the house when I'm out and her seizures are far milder in intensity. I've taken the bottle to my vet to get the go-ahead and although the herbal pet product market is not regulated, the vet has said there's nothing in there that can harm the dog. Probably best to take the bottle to your own vet to check though if you are unsure. Highly recommend TranQuil-Tabs and I use alternately with Bach's Rescue Remedy flower essences. These 2 products have made a world of difference.

Tranquil Tabs-4 dogs and most helpful!
February 11, 2010
I have 3 Rat Terriers- wind sensitive, storm sensitive, and a BC puppy. Have been using this product now for a year; when I know a blizzard or T-Storm is coming thru, give a tab to my Ratties and they are noticeabley calmer. Not sedated, just able to handle it.Used the Tabs last night due to the huge NE Feb Blizzard and gave one to my puppy so he would chill. It worked! My Rat Terriers do not have any anxiety with the wind when I give this natural aid, and in fact I believe they are learning to cope and be less sensitive even when it is not given.I love this product!

Couldn't Live Without Tranquil Tabs!!
February 5, 2010
I have two dogs that were rescued from a hideous hoarding environment where they had been abused for years. They were absolutely basket cases when they came to live with me (almost 3 years ago now). I have been giving them each one Tranquil Tab twice a day for at least two of those years and they are completely different dogs. They have never developed a tolerance for them but I can understand why they didn't work for some people who only gave these to their dogs during frightening incidents ... I believe it takes time for the tabs to work at peak efficiency.Just for the heck of it, I tried taking them off the tabs and they went right back to being nervous wrecks. They're on TT's for life now!

Calms overly hyper dogs
December 27, 2009
I was very skeptical about how well Tranquil Tabs would work. I have two labs and a border collie and all are very hyper. The border collie is terrified of thunder and lightening. One of the labs is terrified of gunfire and fireworks, but the two biggest problems are excessive barking and social anxiety. I live in the country where I am somewhat isolated. All night long the dogs bark at every critter stirring, and since they don't see other people very often they get panicky when around strangers or when I take them in the car.My dogs get lots of exercise to wear them down but still remain pretty high strung. I've tried several other products, including Rescue Remedy, which helped a little, but not enough to justify the price. I read several reviews on Tranquil Tabs and decided to try it and much to my surprise it works pretty well to take the edge off. It doesn't resolve all their problems, but it works enough that my dogs are no longer major nuisances. The incessant barking has mostly stopped and when it occurs, they respond better when I tell them to stop. The two dogs that are afraid of storms and loud noises still get nervous, but not too the point of panic or destructive behavior. The social anxiety also has eased considerably. It's also helped some with the car rides, but they still get pretty wound up about that.I do not give this to my dogs everyday because I don't want them to develop tolerance to it. I only give it to them when a stressful situaion presents itself - usually two or three times a week. I usually give them two tabs each, and only once a day. It works better if you give it to them before they get to upset, so at the first sign of trouble, I give them the pills. Even though they are not taking the pills everyday, their overall demeanor is more relaxed and better behaved. Finally, when I went out of town for a week, I had the pet sitter give them pills everyday we were gone, when I came home, they did not looked totally stressed as they had in the past. So I am sold on Tranquil Tabs, and would strongly recommend them to anyone who has a anxious pet. Of course, always check with your vet before giving any supplements to your pets.

Takes the Edge Off...
January 10, 2009
I use these in combination with 5-HTP ( a precursor to Tryptophan) to calm down my dog. He normally has so much nervous energy that he can't even stand in one place....he just bounces off the walls all the time. I have used many other formulas on the market, but these tablets, in combination with the vet recommended 5-HTP (available at health food stores) work wonders. Tranquil Tabs are a good combination of herbs and Tryptophan in decent amounts, which make it a well rounded formula... I just needed to add some more of the Tryptophan to get the results I needed for my dog. If your dog doesn't have the excessive nervousness that my dog has, these tablets alone will be great for your dog.

Tranquil Tabs that work for DOGS
August 2, 2008
We have tried other types of pills and liquid to help our little dog cope with thunder, lightning and fireworks. This product seems to help her better than any others we have tried. The only con is the pills are big, so we split them and dissolve them in a little warm water and use an dropper to administer. EntirelyPets have cornered the market on CUSTOMER SERVICE. Theyhave exceeded our expectations every time we order. Not only a Great Company but a Great product.Jimmy in Al.
