May 31, 2015
These tabs break up into dust, have had to throw out about the equivalent of 1/2 the bottle. I'd use the "dust" but don't know how to measure it accurately. I wrote the company and got no response. Won't buy again.

It's all Good!
March 5, 2015
Recommended by his Vet, to help prevent crystals. It's been a year now since Beau, my Bichon had crystal surgically removed, twice! In the same year! So far, so good! He's been good! Urine is good! PH is good! Flow is good! He takes 2 tabs daily and he's good to go!

My dog likes these just as much as the Pala-tech ones, but these are much cheaper. To me the quality appears to be the same.

Great product. Our Shih-Tzu (Sancho) loves the tablets
January 14, 2015
Our 14yr old Shih-Tzu has occasional urinary problems about every 2-3 months but since we've been using the Potassium Citrate he hasn't had a problem since and seems to have an easier time going to the bathroom. Anytime we miss about a week of the Potassium (for example, if we forget to reorder) he starts to have difficulties again. Great product. Our Shih-Tzu (Sancho) loves the tablets, he thinks they are treats. Only every once in a while he doesn't want one and usually we'll break it up and mix it in his food at that point.

Powerful stuff
January 1, 2015
Potassium Citrate with cranberry is the only product that has worked on my Australian Terrier's bladder stones. After 2 surgeries to remove stones and another non-surgical intervention to expel stones from his bladder, we needed to chart a new course. Our vet suggested potassium citrate. One of these giant pills at each meal (twice a day, that is) was too much for our dog's stomach, so I decreased the dose to a half-pill with each meal. At his next check-up, he was stone-free. Amazing, considering that this had been a problem for years! True, I have to crush up the half pill and mix it with a little broth into his wet food (Royal Canin Urinary SO, which also helps), but that's not a hardship. I credit potassium citrate and the Royal Canin SO for keeping him alive.

Waste of Money
July 1, 2014
I purchased these "chewables" for my 2 dogs (schnauzer and shih tzu). Neither will take the"chewables" and when I crumble it onto their food they eat around it. What a waste.

please save your money and get granules
October 14, 2013
Really red and smelled potent. although bottle states the pills are chewable, my dog won't go near them. She's almost 40 pounds and the bottle says 1 pill per 20 pounds twice daily. i don't have the time to do the whole routine twice so she gets half the amount a day. in order to get my dog to eat the pills, I crush up the pills and then mix with wet food. I never feed her wet food, so it's getting costly. My dog also has awful gas from eating the wet food I mix in(high quality grain free) with her grain free dry food that I can't wait until I'm done with the bottle.

Works Well for My 15yr Old Dog
February 13, 2013
My Senior Yorkie, Alf, is prone to bladder stones and after 2 surgeries it was recommeneded I use Pottassium Citrate to acidify his urine as diet change was not an option w/multiple pets. This is to help prevent stone formation. With 1/2 tablet 2x daily, this has brought his ph balance from 5.0 to 6.0 within 3 weeks. We have upped him to 3/4 tablet 2x daily to hopefully increase the ph balance to 6.5-7.0. He loves these chewables and they are very easy to split into halves and quarters.
