My dog is only about about a year and five months old, but has always had joint problems. He would have trouble getting up and down stairs, or going from laying to standing. It got to the point where he could barely play with our other dog. We thought glucosamine would help so we got these. He loves them and after only 3 weeks he is doing 10 times better! He doesn't have trouble at all anymore . I would definitely recommend these.

I purchased these for my small breed dogs, but these are large supplements that are not so much soft and chewy. I would give these to larger breed dogs, but my pom and papillon will not eat these unless I cut them up into several smaller pieces. When the product arrived it was hard as a rock and the vendor sent out two more containers and they were all the same so the vendor had me donate to a rescue organization. I do not recommend these supplements for small breeds, but would probably be great for larger breeds over 30 lbs and up.

I love the JointMax product but I will not order it from Amazon again. When I get it from a pet website they arrive soft and gooey and gross, just the way my dog likes them. I ordered from Amazon and the first batch was completely dried out and in one big clump. I exchanged them but the second batch was not much better. I am assuming Amazon's inventory is quite old or improperly stored. I was too worn out to exchange again so my poor dog is suffering through hard unpleasant chews. My next batch will be from a pet website.

If you have an old dog with painful joints this stuff is great!! Cookie our Beagle Mix lived probably 4 years longer (to the age of 17!!) because it lubricated her joints so well. We've been using it for YEARS and I tell ALL my friends about it!!! Shoot I sound like I should be selling the stuff (but I don't)!

My dog suffered a shoulder injury when he was young and had surgery. I have been giving him two of these tablets every day since. He's 11 now and still able to run. I know these work because twice I have run out of the tablets and he went without them for over a week and he began to limp noticeably. When he went back on these tablets, the limp went away. These absolutely work.

I CHOSE THIS RATING BECAUSE I LOVE THE PRODUCT. BECAUSE MY POODLE DON'T TAKE TO MEDICATIONS EASILY...I PUT THIS IN A PILL CRUSHER AND PUT INTO HER FOOD. SHE MUST LOVE THE TASTE BECAUSE SHE GOBBLES UP HER FOOD WITH NO PROBLEM.

Recent studies have shown glucosamine and chondroitin, the main active ingredients in Joint Max, to be no better than a placebo. in relieving joint pain.

This product is value for money. It is worth its price.It does what is says on the site. I am happy with this purchase and recommend it to others.

Both of my GSD's ate these without complaint... Of course they've eaten any variety I've tried so far. No problems with quality on my order.

My 8 year old mixed golden retriever started developing fairly serious arthritis. After a short walk around our neighborhood he would suffer significant pain and had major problems getting through the winter. He is now 12 years old and has been taking this product for 4 years and it's like he is aging backwards. He is so playful, runs up the stairs and can handle two times around the neighborhood with no problems. I can't say enough about this product. The price is great compared to other alternatives from the vet - be aware though the benefits appear slowly over time so don't give up. If you love your dog buy this product. You'll be so happy you did.

My black lab was diagnosed with very mild hip dysplasia after being only 2, he was limping all the time for now reason. The doctor recommended this stuff< so I gave it a try, and he has not limped since. I stopped giving it to him for awhile and the limp def came back. I cant say that its a fix but it def makes his life more comfortable, he just turned five, and is a very active dog who still thinks he is a puppy with no limp.

We used to take Glyco Flex stage II for our Golden Retriever, who was diagnosed with hip dysplasia a year ago. The vet suggested Glyco Flex and it worked well. When I called the provider through Amazon to inquire about the difference between soft chews and regular tablets, I was talked into getting Joint Max as that was supposed to be better and cheaper. Turns out neither is true. The dose for Joint Max is triple the dose of Glyco Flex, and I truly question it's quality. My dog's ability to move around has truly decreased, and I have not changed anything else in her daily routine. Same food, same amount of exercise, etc.. When I contacted the provider to get a refund they okay'd it without any questions. I would not recommend this product and will go back to Glyco Flex.

..... the product made it to me in record time! GREAT product and good value. Saved my dog from needing surgery and restored her from a 'three-legged' dog in to her former 'speed of light running' self! She doesn't go a day without it!
