My fussy guy loves the chicken flavor. He always used to lick the juice/gravy and leave some of the cat food in his bowl. Now that I've introduced Joint Max, he licks the bowl clean. I'm amazed. So not only is he more active but is eating better. Both kitty and I are very pleased!

After a good bit of reading of different joint supplements I found this one, after comparing the finalists this one was the winner. Then the real challenge.. getting my cat to eat it.. first day I put it in her wet food and she cleaned the bowl, even the bit that wasn't on the meat! My cat loves it and I'll just need to wait longer for proper results once she recovers from her injury since she will need to be on this for the rest of her life.

I have been using Joint MAX for my 3 senior cats for years. My 15 yr old has arthritis in her knees and this helps her so much. She only limps on bad weather days when she has been sleeping in one spot too long,,,but then so do I ! 😊 I would give this daily to any older cat as a pro-active step to keep them limber. Its good stuff. My 18 yr old can still do her daily zoombies.

My cat is the hardest cat to give medicine or supplements to and he's picky on flavor so that's why it was important to be able to add something to his food that had a good flavor. He doesn't mind this at all.

This product is great. I've been using this brand for 9 years on my Devon Rex cat. She has hip slippage. Which means her hip in one leg pops in and out of the socket. When the vet diagnosed her at 3 yrs of age, I started her on this product. She has had no issues with the hip since. She is now 12 and doing great. I highly recommend this product. It's easy to mix in their food and she doesn't mind the taste.

My 18-year-old cat was showing her age. She was limping (front and back) and I could easily tell that she was Iin pain. She had always been a "jumper" but she was having trouble getting on the sofa and recliner where she liked to sleep. After one dose of Joint MAX, there was an immediate improvement. It wasn't my imagination -- my cat was suddenly more energetic and she was jumping again without any apparent pain. The improvement was so dramatic that I checked the bottle again for ingredients (seriously...I thought maybe there were stimulants in the product!). The only issue that I've experienced is that I have to use the eyedropper in order to give a dose to my cat. She is a finicky eater, and will not eat even the most expensive canned cat food (with Joint MAX on top). So, I tolerate a little hissing and just squirt a dose into her mouth. It is It's well worth a little inconvenience to see the improvement in my elderly cat!

Sadly I can't rave about how youthfully exuberant my 15 y.o. cat became with this, but that might be because she never, ever eats all of her food. I can't give this to her straight (she likes the taste well enough but it's just far too much at once) and she's a grazer when it comes to eating. She almost never finishes her canned food before it's gone too hard/crusty and she stops going back for nibbles, and that's what I mix this medicine in. So I can't be certain she's even getting close to the recommended dose- but, her stiff joints aren't nearly as stiff anymore. She's still a 100% lazy lump, but that's how she's been ever since she was a really really wee kitten, so I wasn't expecting much if any change there. It's still good to see her no longer favoring her back leg joints for the pain they would cause. So, while Joint MAX hasn't been an 'amazing 5 out of 5' for us, I would heartily recommend it to anyone else.

i purchased Joint MAX Liquid for Cats because my cat broke her hip. She has not been on it long but seems to be limping less. Her pain is not gone completely but she is not in as much pain and sleeping better. She don't mind the flavor. In all it's a good product. Overall ... Impressed.

This stuff works amazing! I have a 14 year old cat who was starting to act stiff and limp after long naps and having a hard time jumping onto the bed. She had failed so many attempts to get on the bed she wouldn't even try anymore. Just sit on the floor and wail until someone lifted her up. I mixed this in some wet food once a day and she eats it with no fuss. After just a couple days she was back to her frisky self. Jumping and running around the house like a crazy cat. It brought the life back my to my aging kitty.

This product was recommended by the veterinarian for our 19-year-old cat, and it seems to be helping her. It's not easy to ask a cat how she feels, but she seems to be moving around more freely and with less evidence of pain. Plus, it must really taste good -- I mix the measured dose into about a tablespoon of regular canned food, and she just eats it right up.

This product seems to help our old cats' bones. They also like the taste, which makes it easy to administer - just dribble it on their food at mealtime. We've reordered it many times.

i originally bought it for my 16yr old cat but he's the pickiest cat and it's a hot or miss, my 3 maine coons however love it.. even if they are being picky about a flavor of canned food (we cycle multiple animal/protein sources so they don't get pancreatitis) they will eat it if i put this liquid joint stuff and probiotics on top. i don't add it when i feed them raw. it doesn't have a strong smell compared to most cat products. I started using it for the coons because all 3 got Uti's and beyond helping joints it helps strength the bladder. i keep it in the fridge.

This seems to help my 14-year old cat. Her joint stiffness improved after I started giving this to her on a daily basis. It hasn't solved the problem, but she's better, so it's worth it!

My 6 year old cat has a bad back and is very slow. My dad calls him Sloe-Mo. I was giving my cat Cosequin, but he did not like it, so I tried this and he has no problem taking it. He actually likes the way it makes his food taste. He is still slow, just not as much and he is playing again.

I'm noticing so many reviews for elderly cats, and I wanted to post a review for anyone who has a slightly different situation. About 2 years ago I brought home a kitten with a broken rear leg from my job; I worked at an animal hospital (occupational hazard :D). His leg never healed despite weekly bandaging and splinting, and ultimately needed to be removed. He's almost 2 now, and he is a speed demon! He's such an active little boy, and after taking a tumble from a chest of drawers in our bedroom ( he obviously thinks he's invincible) he had a noticeable limp and kept flopping over in discomfort for a few days. I decided to purchase this after his fall to reinforce his back leg from now, as I hope when he gets older he has many more years of active play. Well, let me tell you, this stuff is great. He thinks it's a treat and comes running when I take the bottle out of the cabinet! I put 1.5mLs on a spoon and he just takes it right from it! He definitely is more agile now than he's ever been. The support from this supplement has definitely helped with any discomfort he had before, and will only continue to keep him active and happy going forward! So, if anyone happens to have a cat with 3 legs, you can imagine how important it is to keep their joints as strong as possible because their weight is distributed differently than their 4 legged friends, thus putting added pressure. It took about 4 weeks to notice a difference in my 16 year old cat, Alex. He is getting around so much better than he has in years. He runs around in the house after toys now and actually brought a dead mouse home to us- he had been retired from hunting for years. He doesn't like the taste of the medicine so I have to mix it in tuna juice everyday but he gladly takes it that way.

Saw improvement in days. She gobbles the wet food right up with the "joint juice" mixed in. No issues with the taste apparently.

Wouldn't say my cat loves the flavor but she likes it pretty well. She is old and has pretty severe joint stiffness. This does seem to help her move better.

Good buy, started seeing results in my 20lb. 12 yr. old Siamese/Manx feline with her hip joints and easier movement in a few weeks, with continued use, it is easy to mix in her raw diet.

My cat would not take the treat ones but she will take this in her wet food.

It only took about a week for me to notice my cat was walking better, less of a limp. She's still a little stiff, but not dragging her foot like she was. It makes me feel good to see her get around better. She can jump up on my chair with me with ease now. She's 17 and still purring.

Great product. I've been using it on my older cat now for a over a year and she seems to be doing well. No complaints of her jumping or playing, the little playing that she does. I'm happy with it and will keep using it. I do recommend.

Finally a joint health additive that doesn't make my cat puke! Seriously, this is like the 5th one I've tried and it's the first one she's been able to keep down. Price is decent for the amount that you get and the cat seem to like the taste. She's 17 years old with arthritic hips, this product has definitely helped. She seems much lest stiff and is getting around better. It's not a miracle cure, she's still old and arthritic, but she does seem more comfortable.

I love it, but the cats don't. They think the stuff is horrible. [edit: they now tolerate it just fine and don't appear to notice it is even there...just took patience on our part] We tried giving it to them straight...they wouldn't talk to us. We tried on their dry food...it was eaten out of desperation...eventually. But, it disappears rapidly when mixed with wet food. [edit: wet food is now back to a weekly treat and they get their full dosage on their dry food.] The results have been amazing. My 13 year old calico had quit jumping up on anything and very inactive. Now, she is jumping up, via the toilet, and down from the bathroom sink. She is playing and basically acting as she did when she was much younger. Her ten year old black nemesis hasn't shown any major improvements but then he was doing fine before. I am thrilled to see my older girl enjoying life again.

i'm sure it works very well for most cats but mine just couldn't tolerate the beef.

I was skeptical that any of these types of supplements would help my elderly cat. He is 15 and has a slipped disc, or some sort of back problem. He could no longer jump, and was having great difficulty walking. This happened within a matter of days. I ordered the supplements. Now he is frisky as ever. I was shocked and not only happy, but grateful to have my little guy back.

I have a 23 year old kitty, and his hips have been stiff for years. He recently started getting corticosteroid/VitB injections from a vet who makes housecalls, who originally came because my second, 18 year old kitty was reaching the end of her comfortable life. She had 3 housecalls (my older kitty got an arthritis shot each time) and then we had to put her to sleep.My older kitty responded to the arthritis shots amazingly, he now gets on and off the couch and can finish descending a flight of stairs without sitting and vocalizing halfway that it hurts. I can't afford to continue giving my kitty regular injections, but he has really responded so well, that this JointMAX on his food seems to maintain his comfort (So far, at least. I may just get him injections a few times a year, if at all). I've also been trying to increase his overall quality of life since he lost his "wife", and he has a ramp, new treats and a big fresh fountain. But I do believe the JointMAX is putting an extra spring in his step. The vet says he'll make it to age 27, easy.This is a fraction of the price of injections, and I tasted it. It's salty, but I doubt it ruins his meal, I put it on 1/2 can of moist food in the morning, and give him the rest of the can for dinner, after he has dry food available all day. He seems content and comfortable, and loves life more than ever. We're halfway through our first bottle, and I intend to order another. Once again, thank you Amazon for deals and fast shipping!

Another holistic promise gone unfulfilled. Natures answers to natural pain relief gets you very little in the way of results. Same stuff they sell for humans and it doesn't help them (me) either.
